The Ambassador Balloon is above all a collective adventure.
By joining the association, Ambassador Clubs and their members help give new visibility to our movement and its values.
They allow an idea born within the Ambassador Club Riviera vaudoise to become a shared project: a balloon capable of reaching out to the public and carrying the Ambassadors’ humanistic values beyond borders.
There are two ways to take part.
Becoming an owner member
Regional Ambassador Clubs can become owner members of the Ambassador Balloon Association.
An owner member can also consist of several clubs that decide to join forces.
Becoming an owner member means:
- taking part directly in bringing the project to life and in acquiring the balloon envelope;
- being part of the association that owns the balloon and decides on its direction;
- having a vote at the General Assembly;
- being able to use the balloon as a promotional tool at public events organised in connection with the goals and values of the Ambassador Clubs;
- having an original, visible and mobile communication tool to support regional events;
- taking part in a project that fosters collaboration between Ambassador Clubs;
- contributing to the reach of the Ambassador movement beyond the circle of its members.
The balloon thus becomes a shared tool: each owner club helps keep it flying and can, in turn, use it to give visibility to its own activities and the values it wishes to promote.
Becoming a passive member
To celebrate the Ambassador Club’s 70th anniversary, you can help fund the purchase of the balloon envelope with a symbolic donation of CHF 70 or more..
Becoming a passive member means:
- giving concrete support to bringing the project to life;
- helping the Ambassador Balloon grow and gain wider reach;
- personally taking part in an adventure shared by all Ambassadors;
- following the various stages of the project, from the creation of the association through to the first flights and future events.
Passive members support the project but do not have voting rights at the General Assembly.
Every act of support counts. Every new member brings us closer to the first flight.
